Dr. Anisha Gupta has been practicing for over a decade in Houston and is now opening her own practice to be able to provide the very best care for her patients in a new location!
Dr. Gupta is originally from South Florida and attended the University of Miami’s prestigious 7- year Honors Program in Medical Education for both her undergraduate and medical training. She completed an Internal Medicine residency followed by a fellowship in Endocrine, Diabetes and Metabolism at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During her fellowship, she pursued an interest in Obesity Medicine and Weight Loss Medicine and currently runs our successful weight management program with avenues for bariatric surgery for those who qualify. Along with providing individualized advice on dietary and exercise changes, she uses body composition analysis to interpret your changes in percent body fat and lean muscle mass to ensure you are achieving and maintaining a healthy weight loss.
